My Photo Essay About Laos on Boston.com!

Monks in Laos

Monks in Laos on their 5am walk to the temples

As you likely know, I spent the nine months from August of 2009 to May of 2010 traveling around the world, and one of my favorite countries on the journey was Laos.

Now, by clicking on the link below, you can see the deliciousness that is Laos whittled into a colorful photo essay for Boston.com !

Exciting!

I hope you enjoy the piece, forward it far and wide, and then go back and read all my twenty Laos articles, covering the glory that is Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang, the slow boat up the Mekong River… and even a 30-hour bus with no bathroom!

What’s the “Bon Appetit” equivalent for reading? “Bon Read-a-teet?” Well, you know what I mean. Enjoy, and do leave comments!

As I mentioned during our chat, your tubing adventure in Laos reminds me of tubing the Salt River here in Arizona. That part of your trip was among the most enjoyable entries I read throughout all of your adventures.
