Of Boston Harbor Boat Cruises and Beauty

Boston, as seen from a Tall Ship!
Boston, as seen from a Tall Ship!

If you are headed to Boston, or if you’ve lived in Boston for a while but are a lazy landlubber, get thy dry butt to the water, pronto!

Boston’s infamous harbor has now evolved to be inspiring.

There’s such a feeling of community among strangers on boat rides!

On land, the Harbor boasts a gorgeous, sculpture-filled “Harbor Walk” which is so long and exciting that it makes for a great field trip or date. But the real thrill begins when you hop aboard a vessel and set sail… or motor!

You pass dramatic shipping cranes… and planes from Logan zoom RIGHT overhead you!!!

There are an enormous variety of ways to rock out Boston Harbor and its islands, from a super-cheap commuter shuttle which jets you from Boston to Charlestown Navy yard, to various types and prices of craft to boop and bop about the Harbor Islands and beyond.

The weather system is often different on shore, causing fabulous clouds.

Every time I’ve boated in Boston Harbor, it’s been the best. Why? Here are some reasons, in pictorial form, from my most recent watery escapade: a two-hour Tall Ship sunset sailing cruise of the Harbor (with a half-price coupon)! This Boston blogger bids you a beautiful boat ride.

A boat is the perfect escape from your ordinary life: see it all, bobbing beautifully, from a distance!

The Boston Harbor looks beautiful. The crane looks like a huge robot. The city looks so pretty from the harbor. I love going to islands in the Boston Harbor. I have went to almost every island in the Boston Island. The boat I went on is different. My boat was more like a ferry. Your boat has sails and it looks smaller.

These photos reminded me of the last time I went to an island in the Boston Harbor. I went to Long Island and I remember the boat ride since my friends and I took many pictures on the boat of us and of the great scenery that we could see while we were on the boat!

I want to go on a boat cruise but I am scared that the titanic will happen again and I don't want to die so I think I will pass.
