Happy Photos of Rainbow Autumn Leaves in Boston

It's now the most beautiful season in New England: Autumn! Meanwhile, I am currently eight months pregnant, and looking increasingly like the rotund pumpkins sitting on Boston porches.

Since I can no longer run (the muscles that lift my legs are weirdly stretched by baby and no longer work well), I have been taking copious walks. In this glorious season, that exercise ain't so bad! Cyber-walk with me now to see the gorgeous rainbow leaves bursting all over Boston...

  1. Hi, this is Xavier from Barcelona, Spain, I am planning to visit Boston either late september or start of november. I can´t travel in october. What is the best period to enjoy Autumm fall and colors? thanks

    1. How exciting! Foliage timing depends on a lot of factors such as weather and which state you're traveling to. I'd Google something like "New England foliage tracker 2014" to find calendars. Some trackers may not be accurate until closer to the date, however, as the forecasters need to assess the weather so far. Good luck and enjoy!

  2. Gorgeous! You look radiant :-)
We are in Colorado at the moment and we're really enjoying the beautiful yellow trees.

  3. I love Fall and miss it most. There aren't season changes in the tropics and the colors in New England inspire all that is written about them.

I wish I could visit more during that time of the year, but with kids schools it's tough. So I get to enjoy it via pictures.

  4. I'm currently traveling in the Southwest US, and while I love the weather here, I definitely miss the northeastern Autumn. Thanks for providing a virtual version :)

  5. What a fabulous cyber-walk! I absolutely love this season and your images are gorgeous! New England is always stunning, though Fall may be the most magnificent of its' season!

  6. Ugh, jealousy is teaching your Spanish students what a deciduous forest is without being able to actually have them witness fall colors while you're surrounded! Absolutely beautiful - and you're adorable!

  7. Lovely lovely photos and fall is such a beautiful time of years. Glad you're still able to get there and enjoy walks. :-)

    1. I'm motivated by studies that say that women who exercise have healthier and less fussy babies with higher IQs!
